The Buffalo Jewish Federation is looking to hire a full-time Manager of Jewish Experience to design and facilitate Jewish living and learning experiences for teens and young adults.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this position you will lead several efforts for the LiNK Jewish Buffalo, a project of the Buffalo Jewish Federation. Your portfolio will include, but is not limited to, oversight of the Buffalo Jewish Teen Initiative and Nickel City Jews. You’ll interact with a wide variety of young adults [age 21-36], teens & the adults who love them to create cultures of belonging where all Jews, their friends and life partners, and those exploring Judaism feel welcome to participate in Jewish living and learning experiences that help them thrive. Key responsibilities will include relationship building, content and resource development & creation, design & facilitation of Jewish learning experiences and participation in larger gatherings for festivals and holidays, strategic planning, programmatic administration, data collection, volunteer stewardship, and convening collaborative partners.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Bachelor’s degree plus 1-3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Lived experience with Jewish education and/or engagement, and intimate knowledge of Jewish content including: culture, calendar, and text.
• Passion for people; and a demonstrated aptitude to listen, to engage & build authentic relationships with teens, parents of teens, and young adults.
• Methodologies for unbundling and remixing millennia-old content to make Jewish ideas come to life, with meaning and authenticity.
• Deep knowledge of and comfort navigating a multitude of digital communication platforms.
• Team oriented attitude and desire to work collaboratively with colleagues & volunteer partners.
• Extremely strong organizational, administrative and time management skills.
• The ability to work remotely (with a local presence) while still meeting deadlines.
• Drive to get things done with positivity, creativity, adaptability and self-discipline.
• Humility, the ability to take feedback, and a desire to learn and grow.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation-based communication skills.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

WHAT YOU’LL GET
